Preferred drinks are also offered allowing proper digestion. Come grab a chair, join the Mako’s Joint crew and indulge our waiters and waitresses are just waiting on you. Mako’s Joint Organizational Structure:


1. Manager- the manager of Mako’s Joint oversees the entire fast-food restaurant ensuring that the company policy is constantly being followed, the corporate culture is reflected, and customers are satisfied. The manger is also responsible for the purchasing of food, frying oil, condiments and essentials such as toiletry. The manager basically oversees everything that includes the business budgets, payroll and inventory.

2. Supervisor- at Mako’s Joint supervisors provides guidance, motivation and support to the employees. They perform the same duties as regular associates while setting an example and handling complex issues such as fulfilling refund requests and customer complaints. The supervisor reports everything directly to the manager.

3. Front-line Associates- they assist customers when customers come in Mako’s Joint to place an order. They are responsible for greeting customers cordially, take orders accurately, place their orders to the food prep team and they answer any customer questions. These associates have the skills of handling credit cards and how to make change. Front-line employees sometimes have to run to the back to grab side dishes or bring an order to the counter. They report directly to the supervisor.

4. Online Order Takers- Mako’s Joints uses a variety of social media platforms such as Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Blog number and Twitter for advertising making it easily accessible, which helps increase the profit margin. These platforms allow customers to place an order from home and to request delivery or make an order they can come fetch themselves. Their responsibility is to receive orders from clients over the phone and submitting the correct order information to the food prep team. They are also responsible for online purchases and provide the change.

5. Delivery Person- After the ordering of food online through our pages the delivery person ensures that orders are delivered accurately, delivered to the right person and in good condition. They should be able to manage multiple orders, deliver within an optimal period of time, navigate local streets, communicate clearly with customers and food service employees and treat customers with respect.

6. Cooks and Food Prep Associates- they are responsible for one or multiple areas of the kitchen such as the grill or fryer, they must be able to prepare orders in a timely fashion as Mako’s Joint might receive a large number of orders. These employees need to prepare meals, wrap it up and place it with the right customer order. They are also responsible for refilling ingredients, replacing frying oil and changing the water used to wash potatoes.

7. Clean-up Crew- These employees are responsible for keeping Mako’s Joint clean, they make sure dishware is spotless, keep the kitchen clean and clear the garbage. They should periodically sweep the area, wipe down tables and chairs, clean the bathrooms and refill the customer condiment station throughout the day. At the close of business they assist the rest of the staff with final cleaning operations.
